Personal Series

Eleven years ago, in New York, I took photographs almost unconsciously, guided only by what caught my eye. There was no need to capture anything in particular, only the impulse to make images for my own visual pleasure.

Only afterwards did I notice how I was drawn instinctively to balance, geometry, lines and repetition and now it feels like an early trace of the way I would later learn to see through photography.
